KEY ALERT: Batman & Robin #2’s New Villain

I didn’t mention this in our catalog round-up for the month of October, because I figured it needed a post of it’s own! Speculators, definitely keep an eye out for Batman & Robin #2, due on 10/10/23!

According to the most recent issue of DC Connect, the issue features a mysterious new villain named “Shush”! Here’s the solicitation:

“Introducing Shush. Who does she work for? And how have they turned one of Batman’s greatest tools against him? Urban Jungle continues as the father and son dynamic duo are on the deadly case! But first, Damian must deal with… his first day of school?!”

Personally, it’s clear to me that the name and design definitely evokes aspects of Hush, the popular Batman villain created by Jeph Loeb & Jim Lee in the early 2000’s.
